My journey into the world of DJing
My DJ journey kicked off back in June 2024, when a birthday wish for DJ decks turned into a full-blown passion. I started out experimenting with music just for fun, but soon connected with Young Team Scotland a local event company that nurtures young DJ talent. They gave me my first real gig at a Valentine's rave, and it was an absolute blast. With guidance from Ethan McGivney, who runs the show there, I honed my skills and got invited back for more events from Easter celebrations to big warehouse raves.
My unique DJ style
I’d say my DJ style is all about blending energy and personalization. What makes my sets unique is the way I read the room and tailor the vibe to match each event whether it’s a wedding with a romantic, uplifting twist, a lively party where everyone hits the dance floor, or a corporate event that needs just the right background groove. I mix in unexpected tracks and transitions that keep guests on their toes and make each moment memorable.
Moments that made the crowd come alive
One of my unforgettable moments happened at a Valentine’s event with Young Team Scotland. The energy dipped a bit during my set, and I knew I had to turn things around. I threw on a remix of ‘Forever Young,’ and it was like flipping a switch. The whole crowd just went wild, and that’s the moment I knew I was exactly where I needed to be. It’s those moments that inspire me to keep creating unforgettable experiences at every wedding, party, and event I play.
